Welcome to the new digs! I hope you like the colour I painted the walls 🙂 Actually the thanks go to the awesome Ainslie Greig for the design and development of my new website. Apparently it was time for me to pop completely out of my cave, buy an iPhone and get a fancy new website. Unlike the groundhog I didn’t see my shadow.
My older scribblings are still out there on the blogspot (that sounds a bit like something the dog left on the carpet, no?) dating back to 2008 when starry eyed bloggers like me posted everyday. The digital migration has taken us to instagram and Facebook which has mostly poked the stars out of our eyes 🙂 . Life and media seems to have hit warp speed. Who knows what’s next? I hope it involves the morphic field.
And in a time of so many changes it seems good to dream ourselves into being in slower, more grounded ways. More than ever, we need to walk in the woods, do some meditation, cook delicious meals and linger over them with friends and family. When the world wants to carry us off into virtual hysterics we should give it lemonade. Failing that, becoming more embodied can help bring us all into balance. Our listing souls are righted when we choose our thoughts and actions with intention. Start the day with paper and pen rather than an electronic device. Write about what brings you joy, what you love about where you are now and dream out loud about the new directions you are plotting.
I feel the call of Spring as I emerge from the lovely hibernation season of long nights and winter storms. The rhythm of the seasons is tugging us toward Spring. And in that vein it feels the perfect time to bring to life a new virtual living space. So come visit. Smell the incense. I’d offer you tea if I could. Best I can offer is a  tidbit or two of inspiration I’ve gathered through the winter…
Here’s a  meditation courtesy of my lovely homeopath, Seraphina Capranos. It’s a 6 minute nature based  meditation sure to pull you back into your centre.
I’ve spent some time bingeing on Abraham Hicks this winter, contemplating things like my vibrational frequency :). Here’s a link to get you started.  It’s  all about reorienting our “energy” and aligning ourselves with what can nourish and sustain us. Most of us survive on the energy of habit which is not always that nourishing. Perhaps Abraham is not your cuppa but I know there is something out there that calls you to your true self so  that you can nourish your inner being.
And a quote, always a favourite quote: “If we are mindful, we don’t assume limits from past experience have to determine present experience.” – Ellen Langer
